  1. Thank you for this introduction to St. David (Dewi). His is a Christ-like history that resonates with other stories that have captured the attention of men and women all over the world.

I was unfamiliar with St. David and I'm wondering if he's an important figure in the Catholic Church.

You've made me wonder if there are other such vivid and important saints whose stories have been localized only to their areas.

  2. Happy St David's Day! The quote, "do the little things" - I love it. Did you celebrate yesterday?

  3. Hi Dave, I do think there might be a meaning to those road signs in front of the Lutheran Church I posted today. You've got an eye for detail today.

  4. Thanks for the link, Dave. I wonder if he is a saint in my church also (Eastern Orthodox), as he lived prior to the Schism - although he was canonized after.

Did you do any of the things described in the article, when you were a child? The leek soup sounds wonderful!

Love the daffodils - hoping mine will come up when the snow melts. I have hundreds and hundreds in front of my house.
