  1. Oh my goodness, I'd have to have one of everything, even the Stinking Bishop (I couldn't quite make out what was in that).

  2. Stinking Bishop? What is that, some form of a Sheep Cheese?

What ever that plate is at the top right hand corner surely looks good to eat. Yummy

In response to your question about when did police started riding BMW's? I have no ideal whatsoever.

So now the search is on looking for any type of information I can find on the history of motorcycles of San Diego Police, when I do find it I will post it at my blog.

  7. I was banned from buying a portion of Stinking Bishop as nobody wanted it in a hot car for 2 days. I will certainly look out for it again tho. You have to try something with a name like that.

No it wasn't me [for once] that ate the missing pies.

  9. What a pretty town! I love the architecture. And I didn't realize stinking bishop was the name of a real cheese. I thought it was made up for Wallace and Grommit!

  11. I often wonder if idependant food / drink retailers have it in for Bishops, what with naming a cheese after them and also a real ale called Bishops Finger [ http://www.bishopsfinger.co.uk/ ]

  12. You mentioned that foxglove are all over Wales now. I looked at an article at the BBC here and read all about that. Oh, you are lucky to have these beauties all over the place.

  13. Stinking Bishop!

Did you know that they turned down a contract for Sainsbury's or Tescos following the latest Wallace and Gromit film where it was featured, because they couldn't make enough of it to service a supermarket chain, and didn't want to compromise qulaity? Nice to be wanted!! Lovely photos of Stow on the Wold.

  14. mmmm...I want some of that Stinking Bishop...it looked super runny and sharp! Beautiful montage of photos...made me salivate, lol!

I wouldn't have wanted any Stinking Bishop in a hot car for two days, either, though. That actually happened to me once, a piece of Camembert cheese was overlooked and left for a few days...it took forever for that unbelievable odour to dissipate!

  15. What a hoot! My mouth is watering. I looked at the pictures and thought that 'stinky bishop' was a pastry of some type. I had to look it up to find out it was cheese. I guess I should have just read the comments first!
