Looks like a four fingered hand to me.... sticking up out of the ground! Very neat shot!
Yup. It would be a cactus. I have a photo somewhere of a cactus very like this tree.
Well it could pass for a cactus if one had very bad eyes or was too drunk to notice the differences until they rest their hands on it.
