Winter trails

Local Cyclo - Cross race.

I came across this on the way back from my ride.

Posted by Picasa
Winter trails on the winter solstice, it was good to have dry weather and get out. Blowing the cobwebs and the remains of a cold away. I love this solstice as from now on the days get noticably longer.

Abergavenny Craft Fair

Posted by Picasa
Abergavenny is about 30 miles from Cardiff. A wonderful place to visit, to read more click here.
I liked the chickens and cockerel theme, some found it "scary". What about you?

Boundary Stone

Posted by Picasa
On the way back from the ride I came across this boundary stone in the hedge. I should have placed something alongside it so you can judge its size.

December 1st - beautiful.

Views over the Severn estuary

As I had the day off and the weather was cold but sunny, I went for a cycle along the estuary and back home on the higher route.
I took some pictures at sea level, but they didnt come out, so its only these I'm afraid. Those are the Somerset hills in the background.

Camden Lock - London

Posted by Picasa
A cold rainy day in London. Camden Market is supposed to be one of the top markets in the city, but I think its gone too big and lost its original purpose. Still its always good to have a wander around.

Catch the water bus

Posted by Picasa
Avoid the rush hour and travel this way. With all the developments in the bay area many people commute this way.

Riders of the storm

By: Bob Liang
Posted by Picasa
It would have been good to say that we came out of the sun, but this is Wales after all, so it was from the rain that we emerged.
This was from the ride last Saturday.

Bobby Mcgee - Janis Joplin

This song has been going round and round in my head all week. Originally by Janis Joplin but probably made popular by Kris Kristopherson. Janis's life like many other hugely talented people ended too early.

If I didn't win the lottery, or I come across hard times maybe I would be lucky enough to end up here.
