Whenever I see construction sites I'm always amazed at how fast they can put up buildings these days. I love to see those signs in Welsh. Such an interesting language!
Your city is the beating heart of the surrounding country and here it is pumping new blood - a bypass surgery of sorts. The same thing happens here in Little Rock though I must say I'd rather see rehabbing of the old, already built downtown than construction of the far distance western part of the city.
A large city always has construction of some kind or other going on in order to keep up with a growing population. Amazing how quickly a pile of wood or bricks becomes a tangible structure.
Will you post it when the construction is completed? Building never seems to stop..an on-going business.
As you say evolution and rebuilding of cities never stops. In this area the buildings that were demolished were only 20 years old. Sometimes it seems such a waste, and the question asked is why didnt the planners try to look to the future. But future needs change quickly I suppose and no one can accurately predict the future.
As you have taken the time to read my blog and comment then whenever possible I will always reply. Thank you. Dave
