The Devils Staircase ride

These are some views on the way to the staircase from Abergwesyn .  Its reputably one of the hardest cycle climbs in Wales.
The road itself is probably an old drovers road used to drive cattle from West Wales into England.

The You Tube clip below is by Robert Goldsmith, it shows a group of riders going up the hill and gives a good idea as to how steep it is.

I'm too tired even to click on the YouTube button. But, I'm enjoying the view immensely!

Looks like some of our back county areas so dry looking mostly in the summer time that is.

Oh by the way I started up a new blog and I am back!

That looks like quite a bike ride you had there. But very worthwhile. Lovely view!

And to answer your question, yes, I had a lovely champaign cocktail up on Vertigo 42. Very tasty!
