Old pictures

These were taken from old stereoscope pictures.  The original picture contained two images that when looked at through the viewer give the perception of a 3 D  effect.  We have lots of these prints and together they are a "world" tour at the beginning of the 20th Century.

I have scanned them and then played around with them in Photoshop.

Growing up in CA not that far from Yosemite...we spent many vacations there, camping and enjoying the beautiful scenes.

Your old time pictures are wonderful.

Love these old pictures.

Worked at Yosemite Park back in the late 80's one summer and love that job there, it was one of the most fun jobs I ever had....also used to spend many summers there with friends and family too.

A wonderful history behind these images I suspect

Love the old pictures! I guess Metcalf is no longer around. I don't see it on the map.

Oh, I love old pictures. They are like a window into the past.
