Amsterdam.

 

Somewhere I've always wanted to visit. 

We spent 3 days walking the City so had a good feel for it by the end.  Bikes rule and come at you from all directions, even walking is a nightmare as you have to be continually alert, so crossing the road is fraught.  Because when doing that, you also have cars, trams, and buses to contend with, they all have separate lanes and sometimes they are travelling in different directions.  We saw a few tourists who were knocked down by the bikes.  Also scooters are allowed to use the bike lanes!!!  So not a relaxing city to stroll around.

 

Outside the city its more relaxing and the Dutch  are very friendly.  We were there for a few of their World Cup games and virtually everyonewears something orange.
