Millennium Cycle Route

The section we cycled was from Swansea Bay to Pembrey Park and back.

Crossing the Lougher river

The first part here is the Burry estuary but then it opens out and you get fabulous empty beaches.

Pembrey park has a dry ski slope and toboggan run

Swansea council have planted wildflowers everywhere, they are on the central reservations of the roads enter the city and here alongside the trail.  I wish more local authorities did this.

Its well worth doing this ride especially on a sunny day, its flat and mostly on trails.

  7. Thanks all, Following this ride I developed cellulitis in my legs probably from the dirt splashed up from the trail. I have'nt had it for a while but this time it laid me low. Thankfully it responds to antibiotics so beginning to get over it.

  8. Dry Ski Slop? How does one use a Dry Ski Slop without snow?

    1. The textured surface lets the ski's slide over it. Its mainly for learners as you dont go as fast as if you were on real snow. I've never been skiing so I've never tried it out.

  9. So sorry to hear about the cellulitis. I believe our President Nixon suffered from that. Check out today's travels, we're in Idaho which is an amazing state. The US is an astoundingly non-homogenous environment.
