Rain

From the end of November we have had lots and lots of rain, with only a few clear spells.  So not much cycling.

These were from a wet night in Cardiff.

  1. Night shots are something different. Always worth a go.
I thought the last one summed things up well.
Constant rain is depressing, hindering everything.

    1. These were taken on my phone and the last one was taken on the bus into town. But at least its typical November weather.

  2. I recall all those mirror reflections when I lived in the city it was hard to see. We have been having lots of rains followed by a few clear days then back to rain that is our typical November. Hope you will get some sun soon and hit the road on your bike.

  3. Hi Sondra the glare from the lights and reflections make driving difficult, and when its wet I find that people are in a rush and are not so observant. When I worked I hated cycling home on dark wet nights, luckily I didn't have far to go on roads before I could use the cycle trails. have you planned any trips yet, I've booked my ferries to France for May but not firm routes yet.

    1. Filthy November is a good description Mick, the rain here has been seemingly endless. These were taken on the phone as I was walking to the bus stop after meeting friends, I liked the blurred images and the reflections.

  7. That reminds me of living in Seattle.

Why is it necessary to book ferries to France this much in advance? Are they that full?

    1. Its not necessary Allison its just that the ferry companies do cheap offers in the winter and then hike the prices up in the summer. But who knows what going to happen because of Brexit.......no one knows.... what a mess the UK is in.

    2. Ah hah! That makes sense. We're following Brexit over here, wondering what the heck happened. Today it seems that Mrs. May is going to lose a vote of confidence. The entire world is sliding off the rails these days.
