These are a couple of pictures from the Newport Riverside area. Like many other cities where there is a waterfront and docklands its being redeveloped, although I suspect the rate of development will have slowed down a bit due to the economic situation. I read somewhere the other day that 40% of people employed on house building have been laid off.
What an interesting bridge. I've never seen one quite like that. You got a lot of nice photos on your travels. (I guess the tough economic times are reaching everywhere.)
