Chippenham buskers

I love buskers and these are called the Bucket Band.  They looked and sounded as if they had been playing for a few years.  Good street entertainment.

No need to lock the car while I'm here.

We visited Chippenham the other day and came across this plaque on the roadside  and this poster in a pub.

Rubbish

Why?  especially when there are so many local waste diposal places.

Rivers run red......

.........well , with iron anyway.  With lots of old iron workings around this area this spring water has turned the immediate area red with iron oxide.

Taffs Well, Well - reflections

For some reason the Well at Taffs Well has flooded to a level half way up to the door in the middle.  We've  had rain but not an unusually heavy amount to cause this level of flooding.
