Taffs Well vintage?

 

I haven't tasted them yet as this is the only bunch.  I expect they will be very sharp and we have had very little sun to sweeten them up.

The hollyhocks did'nt come to much either.  But as all gardeners say...."there is always next year"

Views from the Garth

 

 

 

 

 

 

A beautiful day so a walk from the house up the Garth mountain is on the cards. Fantastic scenery which makes me appreciate where we live.  On the path down, a poignant reminder of someone else who also enjoyed visiting the Garth.

The highest road in Wales?

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

This is the Gospel Pass on the road between Abergavenny and Hay on Wye and thats one of its claims.  A long climb up, but well worth it for the views and the wonderful downhill run into Hay on Wye.

Not much time?

These guys dont have much time to fatten up before they leave for Africa towards the end of September.

I have tried uploading from Picasa and also adding picutures via the icon on the Blogger toolbar, but no luck.
