An Easter Sunday ride

 

A beautiful sunny but cold day.  This is a view from just outside Tonyrefail, I thought the white cross, made of stones, on the hillside was a relevant picture for today.

The first time I've seen this.  The little guy puts a CD on and dances to the music and the operator sits inside.  Not sure how it works but it drew the crowds.

Its always good to celebrate the Spring Equinox.!!!  This was Cirencester in the Cotswolds.

A favourite meeting place, The Lewis in Tongwynlais, on a cold but sunny Thursday.  There was still ice in some of the lanes where the sun hadn't reached but the views as always, were good.

I think I may use the Lewis picture as a header?

These are some views on the way to the staircase from Abergwesyn .  Its reputably one of the hardest cycle climbs in Wales.
The road itself is probably an old drovers road used to drive cattle from West Wales into England.
