Cheltenham

The famous fish clock which blows bubbles on the hour.

Any idea what make this is?  I had a good look but couldn't find a name, maybe its a kit car.  But the sound it made was something else.

Cheltenham is only 70 miles from Cardiff so we visited last weekend, staying on the Cheltenham Racecourse campsite.

Penarth and Cardiff Bay

Penarth Pier and promenade.  The Pier building is undergoing a massive make over and restoration

Penarth Head, no doubt a welcome sight for ships coming down the channel to the docks.

Cardiff Bay with the Norwegian Church in the middle.  Built in the 19th. C when the Norwegian fleet was the third largest in the world.  Only three were built in Britain so it shows how big a port Cardiff once was.  Alas no more...
