Diamond Jubilee Year

This is a pillar from the Taffs Well viaduct which carried the railway line to Barry.  As you can see its been decorated for the two previous jubilees so I wonder where the Diamond one will go?

    Very good question. I remember the 1977 Jubilee as I lived in London at the time. Oh the crowds... It was fun!

    Ceil, maybe you have seen this on your trips to Wales, its visible from the A470.

    I don't think I ever saw it before.

    And I couldn't believe the game was cancelled. Trust France to be incapable of heating the field...
