Autumn leaves

Whilst we dont have the range of colours of a North American Fall, its our Autumn.

These were taken at Dyrham Park just outside of Bath.

Its a good walk wandering through the grounds and gardens, let alone a trip through the house.  There are plenty of things to keep the children amused too.

    1. Yes its a colourful time of year and this year we have been lucky as the weather has been dry and very mild.

  2. Beautiful...and I really enjoyed seeing the way the tree bottoms are all trimmed up neat and straight, that's a fantastic look! Our leaf color is just beginning here in my part of SC.

    1. I noticed that too Sondra, and I wonder if its done by cattle or dear foraging rather than by the estate workers.

  3. Nice color. And those are some straight tree trimings. I'm betting deer.

    1. I enjoy going to these places and to see the splendor that they lived in. So far removed from working people.

  5. Cracking photos once again! I love the way the trees are trimmed too, especially that one in photos four and six, that matches to (steep) slope so neatly.
I'll recommend this park to my sister who lives in Bristol and usually enjoys a walk somewhere each weekend.
