I brought irises from the coast to the plains here (hope they survive the winter) - they're starting to bloom and what a treat after the long start to spring. Delightful photos Dave.
Saw that your airports were closed today (May 17 here) - do you get any fall-out from the ash clouds? It is amazing the ripple effects and chaos this one volcano has caused even over here. Hope all is well for you and your family.
Lovely flowers these are...everything been blooming on strong in the past couple of months now, and some more new flowers popped up as well in the garden here, we have new flowers here which are Larkspurs which we never had before.

I wish I could grow primroses here. It's one of the flowers I miss the most...it won't come back each year after the cold winter.
ReplyDeleteSuper photos, Dave...they remind me of my coast garden.
Good grief, it's been freezing here, 8° on Thursday afternoon I think. Summer seems a long way away but the daffs and tulips are all gone...
