Just back from a few days in Brighton, and escaping the worst of the snow too. For me Winter is often the best time to explore seaside places.
Brightons buildings range from the grandeur of the 1820's houses to traditional pubs and narrow shopping alleys called "The Lanes". Unfortunately the Royal Pavilion [3rd from the top] was closed for maintenance work.
That really looks like an interesting place to explore. Love the whimsical building with the parachutes.
ReplyDeleteLooks like it has just about everything. Love the balloons on the building... and the "lanes".
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my site today. Love the photos of Brighton. I haven't been but it is on my list for my next visit. I do love visiting England and Wales but have often wondered if the rain would get to me after a while if I stayed for very long. It doesn't bother me while I'm there.
ReplyDeleteI love shoppping in the lanes
ReplyDeleteNice of you to visit me on this wintry day. That bike on your header is one snazz job.
ReplyDeleteVery good photography and truly interesting architecture. Thanks for the tip on riding the rails. Sounds worthy of a peep and cheap. Although it indicates freedom, I need a little more baggage. Ha
