In the previous post I showed you a couple of pictures of the setting up and so here's a few of the actual show.
Not much commentary needed as the flowers speak for themselves, and Roald Dahl's Big friendly Giant welcomed everyone arriving.
With the crowds and the jostling for position it was often difficult to take the pictures of the plants.
This was a great idea for attracting bees and insects.
A bubbling mud pool
I never realised there were so many types of daffodils.
Some which caught my eye.
Its always nice to end with a classic old van.
wow!! so many beautiful flowers in amazing display!!--I would go nuts trying to see it all! Love the Green Bug!!
ReplyDeleteSondra, There are a lot of stalls and displays and we didnt get to see them all otherwise you need 2 full days there.
DeleteI'm no gardener but those flowers are stunning. I didn't know there were so many flavours of Daffodil either - amazing display!
ReplyDeleteYes those daffodils were amazing, and there's something there for everyone.
DeleteLots and lots of flowers, wow I would felt like I was inside a candy store if I were there. I did find them round saucers of grass rather interesting that you label as a Mud Pool.
ReplyDeleteThat mud pool was a first for me too.
DeleteLook at all of those springtime blooms...beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThanks for commenting, yes it was a blaze of colour.
DeleteJust beautiful flowers! I never saw such a display of daffodils. Who knew there were so many.
