Having joined the National Trust when we went to Dorset we're now visiting places to get our monies worth. This is Dyrham Park House near Bath, as no pictures are allowed inside read all about it here.

  2. What a great story about the background on that house, it is a shame though that you couldn't show any pictures from the inside though.

I can only imagin the art work on the inside of that place was wonderful to see.

  3. Wow, it looks like a place right out of the movies. How beautiful! And how lucky you are to get to visit places like this. What a treasure! (P.S. I don't know if the Ikea in Red Hook does breakfast, but they certainly do delicious lunches!)

  4. Impressive and beautiful buildings Dave. Definitely wouldn't want to have to do the housework though :)
I love the rooftop balconies. I'd love to see the inside too.
    Excellent photos!
