This is on the Avon going up to Bristol Docks. The tug follows the boat in case it runs aground on the sandbanks. This one flying the Welsh flag, accompanied the Balmoral a few weeks ago.
My neighbour, when I was a kid in Bristol, used to drive one of these. When he retired he bought an old one and moored it on the Bristol Avon intending to explore the world with it I think.
Hi DaveM, I just got a chance to get on a computer at a home I'm visiting and wanted to say hello. It was indeed a two day drive to Wisconsin from Little Rock. We stopped in Carlinville, IL for the night (if you want to map-search it).
I love salad nicoise - and I would eat the whole salad you showed on your previous post!
