Looking forward.....

I'm out of hospital and recovering at home .  Its a long slow process but its going in the right direction.

I've a long long way to go before I can get back to cycling like this, but it's good to have a goal.

Here's wishing you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

  1. Well done Dave. Keep that upbeat attitude and you will climb that mountain and come to "the sunlit uplands".

I am one of no doubt many who are rooting for you! Happy Christmas.

  8. Thanks Mark, I'm working on it.
I have the SX 720HS a great camera, and fits into your pocket easily. It has a good choice of manual setting if you need to over ride the auto setting the manual setting although that is very good and is handy when out on the bike and you just want a quick snap.
The zoom is fantastic and has a button on the side so that you can quickly zoom into something that you have identified initially The disadvantage of the zoom is being able to hold the camera steady although is does have stabilizing software.
A view finder would be useful in difficult lighting conditions, but the 740 has a flip up viewfinder which may help.
Overall a good camera and I'm pleased with it and because of its size and versatility I use it a lot.
